Terms & Conditions:
CIRT Website and Conference App
Effective Date: August 21, 2026

These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern access to and use of the CIRT Conference App ("app") and CIRT website ("website") provided by the Construction Industry Round Table (“CIRT,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By accessing or using the app or website, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app or website.

1.Eligibility and Authorized Use
The CIRT Conference App is intended for CIRT members and other individuals approved by CIRT to attend or participate in a CIRT conference. Downloading the app does not establish CIRT membership, conference registration, or authorization to attend an event.
CIRT may approve, deny, suspend, or discontinue access when reasonably necessary to administer its membership, conferences, or app services.

2.Account Responsibility
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for activity conducted through your account. You may not share your credentials with another person or use another attendee’s account. Notify CIRT promptly if you believe your account has been accessed without authorization.
Information in your profile should be accurate and should relate to your own professional identity. Do not submit another person’s personal information without permission.
3.Permitted Use
CIRT grants authorized users a limited, personal, nonexclusive, nontransferable, and revocable right to use the app for CIRT conference participation, professional networking, and access to event information.
You may not:
-
Use the app for an unlawful, fraudulent, harmful, or unauthorized purpose;
-
Harass, threaten, impersonate, or misrepresent your relationship with another person or organization;
-
Collect, copy, distribute, or use attendee information for unsolicited marketing, mass communications, or purposes unrelated to legitimate professional networking;
-
Share confidential conference or member information with unauthorized individuals;
-
Attempt to gain unauthorized access to accounts, systems, data, or restricted content;
-
Interfere with the app’s operation or security;
-
Upload malicious code or content that infringes another party’s rights; or
-
Copy, modify, reverse engineer, resell, or commercially exploit the app or its content except as permitted by law.
4.Member Profiles, Messaging, and Networking
The app and website may include attendee profiles, messaging, meeting requests, badge scanning, and other networking features. Participation in these features is optional.
Information you place in your attendee profile may be visible to other approved attendees. When you scan a badge, accept a connection, send a message, or use another networking feature, information may be shared with the members involved in that interaction.
Use member contact information respectfully and only for appropriate professional purposes. CIRT may review reported conduct and restrict app access when these Terms or CIRT standards are violated.
5.User-Submitted Content
You retain ownership of content you submit through the app. By submitting profile information, photographs, messages, survey responses, or other content, you authorize CIRT and its service providers to store, process, display, and use that content as reasonably necessary to operate the app, administer the conference, and provide the requested features.
You represent that you have the right to submit your content and that it does not violate applicable law or another person’s rights. CIRT may remove content that is inappropriate, unlawful, infringing, misleading, or inconsistent with these Terms.
Concerns about app content or another user’s conduct may be reported through https://www.cirt.org/app-support or the in-app reporting and content flagging features. CIRT will monitor all reports and take appropriate action as necessary.
6.CIRT Content and Intellectual Property
The app and its CIRT-provided content—including names, logos, designs, schedules, publications, presentation materials, photographs, and other resources—are owned by CIRT or used with permission and may be protected by copyright, trademark, or other laws.
Content may be used for personal conference participation and internal professional reference. It may not be republished, sold, publicly distributed, or used commercially without permission from CIRT or the applicable rights holder.
Copyright concerns may be submitted in accordance with CIRT’s posted copyright and DMCA procedures at https://www.cirt.org/privacy-policy.
7.Conference Information
CIRT endeavors to provide accurate and timely conference information, but schedules, speakers, locations, materials, and other event details may change. Information in the app is provided for convenience and does not guarantee that a session, speaker, feature, or activity will remain available.
Conference registration, payment, cancellation, and attendance requirements are managed separately and are not established by these Terms.
8.Privacy
Use of the app is also governed by the CIRT Conference App Privacy Notice available at https://www.cirt.org/app-privacy. That notice explains how information associated with the app is collected, used, shared, and retained.

9.Third-Party Services and Links
The app is supported by Eventify and may contain links to third-party websites, surveys, documents, or services. CIRT is not responsible for the content, availability, security, or privacy practices of independent third parties.
Your download and use of the app may also be subject to the applicable terms of Apple’s App Store, Google Play, your device provider, and Eventify.

10. Availability and Changes
CIRT does not guarantee that the app or every feature will be available at all times or on every device. Features may be modified, suspended, or discontinued, and temporary interruptions may occur because of maintenance, connectivity, security, or circumstances outside CIRT’s control.
CIRT may update these Terms when the app, its features, or applicable requirements change. Updated Terms will be posted on this page with a revised effective date. Continued use after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
11.Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability
The app and its content are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. To the extent permitted by law, CIRT disclaims warranties that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or suitable for every user’s particular purpose.
To the extent permitted by law, CIRT will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from use of or inability to use the app, reliance on app content, interactions between users, or third-party services.
Nothing in these Terms excludes rights or liabilities that cannot lawfully be excluded.
12.Suspension and Termination
CIRT may suspend or terminate access if a user is no longer eligible, violates these Terms, creates a security or operational risk, misuses member information, or engages in conduct harmful to CIRT or other app users.
You may stop using the app at any time. Requests concerning personal information or account data may be submitted as described in the CIRT Conference App Privacy Notice.
13.Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia and applicable United States federal law, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
